Haidar Fadel: Brought me back my Vision & brought me back my life

The Ophthalmic Dr. E iad Ryahy was able to bring hope to a young Iraqi man in the prime of life by bring back vision his left eye, which he was suffering from keratoconus carry out an operation for rings implantation which led to restore sight to his eye and returning again to the practice of his life as usual. The young man says Fadel Haidar Hammoud, who is the twenty-first-year-old said he had visited a number of specialist doctors in Iraq and other Arab countries seeking treatment that finally guided him to Dr. Eiad Ryahy and Eye Center, managed by Dr. Riahiyahy. • From what were you complaining Mr. Haider?

I complain at the beginning of blurr in my eyes when I was sitting in front of a computer screen and when reading it I then developed later to the extent that I needed help to be able to move from one place to another, so I thought of consulting a number of doctors in Iraq, but the security situation prevented me from continuing treatment. I moved to another Arab country to make the LASIK and there is a request to replace the glasses to contact lenses solid, which caused me pain and itching in my eyes, so I decided to review the hospitals and specialists in Jordan, and after having heard the reports of the cases had a hospital to facilitate the procedures to me in Jordan and in the treatment the hospital underwent a corneal transplant in my right eye to stop the deterioration occurring in my vision, after the success of the process and stood bewildered in front of the difficult situation in the left eye ,then the opinions of doctors in that hospital specialists agreed to consult with Dr. Ryahy on the left eye, which was suffering from keratoconus.

• Can you describe the steps of treatment with Dr. Ryahy?

After my visit to the International Eye Center and the Dr. Ryahy examined my left eye, and measured the thickness of the cornea and a visual layout of the square and the bottom of the eye showing the thickness of the corn ea than four hundred, which necessitated an operation for the cultivation of the rings.

• How was the process?
The process was quick and very easy compared to the other defects of vision, has been at the center without the need for deep sedation, but only local anesthesia resulted in a number of drugs in eye drops as a prelude to a simple crack or hole in the cornea in order to control the case of bad considering that you suffer them.  

• Are there side effects I had them after the operation?

Suffered after the operation for a few days if blur and burning in my eyes, but this situation gradually faded away and began to consider settling in a sequential manner and routinely thereafter distilling my eyes and take treatment that Dr. Ryahy decided to have an operation to strengthen the lin ks to reach the best results, this is what happened with vision in prepared I returned to the practice of my life as usual.

• How do you feel after getting to where it?
